Crown Moulding
We added some crown moulding in the dining room, as well as some new artwork and a vase with branches. I love it!

Crack dip
Crack dip is a fantastic dip that is a hit at every party. People love this stuff! It's devoured every time I bring it somewhere.
Ingredients:
1 block cream cheese
canned chicken (1 big can or 2 little ones) - drained
buffalo wing sauce
ranch dressing
Mix it all together until you have the desired taste. I usually use about a half cup of ranch and 3/4 cup wing sauce, but I really don't know, since I don't measure it.

Rose Garden
Take a look at my rose garden. I just cleaned out most of the flowers that I plant in front of the roses for winterizing. They all did very well this year, minus the orange one.

Stairwell woodwork
I wanted to add a chairrail to the stairway for some architectural detail that we didn't have when we moved in. To start, I taped off the lines of where I wanted the chairrail to go, using measuring tape, pencil marks, and blue tape.
Blue tape as a guide was great, because then I didn't need to make sure I was straight each time I made a cut - I had already done that when putting the tape up!
After I was all taped up, I made the correct cuts with the saw, and used my new nail gun to nail it to the wall. The hardest part was getting the right angles during the cuts for the non-90 or 45 degree angles.

I am happy with the way it turned out.

Halloween decorations
Did anyone else decorate for Halloween? I did. With one pumpkin from Walmart. I love it, because it is my favorite color and FULL OF GLITTER.
Turkey Club Wraps
mmmm Turkey Club Wraps. I love these, and they're easy to make for a weeknight dinner. Sometimes I use chicken instead of turkey, but turkey was on hand tonight.
Ingredients:
Turkey, sliced
tomatoes and lettuce
avocado
shredded cheese
bacon
ranch dressing.
whole wheat tortillas

Christmas Foyer decor
I had some cute ribbon and ornaments to use in my foyer. I wanted to add some classics like candy canes and the pine cones, and came up with a cute little entry way design.
The ribbon tied around the glass gave these a great look.
Oops, blurry. Having the Hershey's kisses were great when company came over, for a little treat.

Lighter Lasagna Soup
I found this recipe, and wanted to modify it for the crock pot. So, I did! I was able to use frozen turkey sausage, and it just took a little longer in the crock pot. You can use refrigerated turkey sausage as well.
Ingredients:
1 box chicken broth
1 diced medium onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 pound ground turkey sausage
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
4 oz penne pasta
Mozzarella and parmesan for garnish
salt, pepper, and basil to taste
Add everything except the pasta to your crock pot, cook on high 4 hours. Once sausage is cooked through, crumble it up in the pot using forks. Add the pasta and cook on low until tender.

Sausage, onion, garlic, and spices
Everything else added in (but the pasta)
All finished. This was a good, easy crockpot recipe that also tastes delicious.
